Lack is a substance that come from insect ( genus Laccifer) secretion. There are 3 insect that could produce lac, those are Laccifer lacca, Kerr; Laccifer javanus, Chomb; and Tachardia aurantiaca, Ck LL.Those insects living as parasit in kesambi (Schleichera oleosa), ploso (Butea sp), widoro( Zizyphus jujuka), dan akasia (Accacia vilosa). Perhutani’s seedlac factory is using Laccifer lacca, Kerr to produce lack.

a. By Contract:
1. Legal Company
2. Propose the application to the Perhutani’s Marketing Director or Unit Head
3. Enclose the following letters:
- Surat Tanda Daftar Perusahaan
- SIUP
- KTP pemilik perusahaan
- NPWP
- Ijin Tempat (HO)
- Surat Keterangan dari KBM setempat

b. Direct Selling
1. Individual or legal company / Perorangan atau Perusahaan Berbadan Hukum
2. Propose the requesting letter to the Perhutani’s General Manager with the authority of Unit Head.
3. Enclose the following letters / Melampirkan fotokopi:
- Surat Tanda Daftar Perusahaan
- SIUP
- KTP pemilik perusahaan
- NPWP
- Ijin Tempat (HO)
- Surat Keterangan dari KBM setempat

Perhutani will issuing COS (Contract of Sales) for export and SIP (Surat Izin Pembelian) for domestic market. Minimum DP for international market at least 15%, and 10% for domestic market.
